Dkizz, a burgeoning Afro-pop singer and songwriter of Nigerian origin, embarked on his musical journey at age 15, discovering a remarkable talent for playing various instruments in his family’s church. Following the global pandemic, Dkizz arrived the music scene with his debut single “Show Me,” which accumulated over 200,000 views on its official video and was featured in African publications such as Txt Magazine, The NativeMag, Culture Custodian, 49th Street, and Hot New Afro. This early exposure ignited his passion, leading to spirited freestyles and gospel raps during school events.

Dkizz finds inspiration in notable Nigerian music figures such as Davido, Omah Lay, and Wizkid. His music reflects a blend of diverse Afro-beats sub-genres, influenced by his exposure to various musical styles during his upbringing.” His dedication eventually captured the attention of industry stalwarts like Fireboy Dml, earning him a significant shoutout and repost for his cover of the hit track “Peru.” “Show me” his debut single which was premiered on UK’s radio station, ONE Dance radio. The track not only emphasized positive messages of love and affection with its upbeat afrobeat sound but also achieved over 200,000 YouTube views on its official video and secured a prominent spot on Audiomack Trending Songs chart for four weeks.Dkizz’s success surged with his release of “My Lady (I Sabi)” a Tik Tok sensation amassing over 500,000 plays on the official music video and a total of over 9 million video views on TikTok. After the success of ‘My Lady,’ Dkizz teamed up with UK multi-platinum producer JB Made It to create the French titled single “Merci”.
